Kevin Mack

Founder & Lead Writer at MentalHealthBlogger.com
Mental Wellness Advocate | Non-Medical Mental Health Educator

I’m Kevin Mack, the creator and primary writer behind MentalHealthBlogger.com, a non-medical mental health and mental wellness website focused on education, lived experience, awareness, and emotional well-being.

I am a mental wellness advocate who writes openly about real-life mental health experiences, emotional challenges, and mental health topics from a human, lived perspective rather than a clinical one.

This site exists to help people better understand their emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and mental wellness experiences without shame, judgment, exclusion, or medical labeling.

Mental health conversations should feel accessible, inclusive, and real, not clinical or intimidating. That belief shapes everything I publish here.

What I Write About

MentalHealthBlogger.com focuses exclusively on non-medical mental health education and lived experience, including but not limited to:

  • Mental wellness and emotional well-being
  • Bipolar disorder awareness (non-medical, lived experience–based)
  • Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
  • Mood changes, emotional regulation, and stability
  • Trauma-informed mental health education (non-clinical)
  • Real-life mental health experiences and reflections
  • Self-awareness, self-care, and emotional routines
  • Social, cultural, and environmental impacts on mental health

All content is written to educate, validate, and empower, without providing diagnoses, treatment plans, or medical advice.

My Approach to Mental Health Writing

I write as someone who lives with mental health challenges and understands how deeply personal mental wellness can be.

I openly share real-life mental health topics based on my own lived experience, including my experience living with bipolar disorder. This perspective allows me to write with honesty, empathy, and nuance while respecting the complexity of mental health.

My approach is grounded in:

  • Lived experience, including bipolar disorder
  • Mental wellness advocacy and education
  • Evidence-informed research from reputable sources
  • Inclusive, respectful, non-stigmatizing language
  • Trauma-aware and emotionally safe writing
  • Clear boundaries between education and medical care

I intentionally avoid clinical or diagnostic language. My goal is not to label people, but to help them better understand themselves.

Inclusive Mental Health Writing

MentalHealthBlogger.com is written for all people.

I am committed to inclusive mental health education that respects:

  • All gender identities and expressions
  • All sexual orientations
  • All races, cultures, and backgrounds
  • Neurodivergent individuals
  • People with diagnosed and undiagnosed mental health conditions
  • People who are simply trying to understand their mental wellness

Mental health affects everyone differently. Inclusion, representation, and compassion are core values of this platform.

Non-Medical Disclaimer

MentalHealthBlogger.com is a non-medical mental health and mental wellness website.

I am not a medical professional, therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or licensed healthcare provider. The content on this site is for educational and informational purposes only and is based on lived experience, advocacy, and research.

Nothing published on this website should be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Why MentalHealthBlogger.com Exists

Mental health content online is often overly clinical, disconnected, or inaccessible.

MentalHealthBlogger.com exists to:

  • Advocate for mental wellness and mental health education
  • Normalize conversations about bipolar disorder and other conditions
  • Reduce stigma through honest, lived-experience storytelling
  • Provide supportive, inclusive mental health education
  • Help people feel seen, understood, and less alone

You don’t need a diagnosis to care about your mental wellness. You don’t need medical language to understand your emotions. You don’t need to fit into a box to deserve support.

Connect With Me

Mental health education is an ongoing conversation.

I welcome readers who are learning, questioning, reflecting, or simply seeking understanding. MentalHealthBlogger.com is built to be a safe, inclusive space for mental wellness education and real-life discussion.

Final Note

Mental health is personal. Mental wellness is ongoing. Healing is not linear.

Everything I write is guided by empathy, responsibility, inclusion, and lived experience. I do not write to “fix” people. I write to help people better understand themselves and their mental wellness journey.
